ABOUT MORGAN

​Morgan Miles is an Austin-based birthworker, social worker, and executive director of the community based doula organization, GALS.

She creates a lasting difference in people’s lives by bringing over a decade of birth, leadership, and changework experience, coupled with a trauma-informed, anti-racist, and family-centered lens.

PHILOSOPHY

Morgan believes that in order to eliminate birth and perinatal health disparities, we have to work at every level- direct care, systems work, and legislative action.

She also believes that true, lasting change takes place in community, where humanness is centered and joy is abundant.
